Ready for the the best storytelling in movies all summer?
A party at the Arclight Hollywood kicks off this year's DocuWeek, the IDA's annual Academy Awards - qualfiying showcase of documentary shorts and features.

IDA interim executive director Eddie Schmidt had this to say in an interview with the San Francisco Chronicle:
"It's a nice way to wrap up the summer moviegoing experience, where you walk out of the theater and it's not just the explosions you're talking about," he says. "DocuWeek is like a respite: You've had your popcorn experience, and now you're ready for a full meal."
